Sketchup Process

My experience with Sketchup has very much been a love/hate relationship, with the majority of the relationship being hate. I have had a hard time understanding Sketchup but it definitely was not the program, it's just me. Sketchup has been helpful in visualizing my project and having a better understanding. In addition, I would like to add that this project was one of the easier things we've done on sketchup - specifically meaning that the bench is indeed my worst nightmare. Sketchup can be extremely frustrating, especially if you are not computer savvy like me. The thing that worries me the most though is that if I have had this much trouble conceptualizing and creating my bookcase on the computer, what is in store for me when I actually begin constructing it...?
