Day 1

I have officially started constructing my bookshelf. Woohoo! So far I have cut most of my wood. I have cut the three shelves, the top piece of the shelf, and have the length cut for my two sides; however, I have not cut it to make the two sides because I want to put the dados in before cutting it so they will be even. It was nice to get things started and it was helpful mentally to not have too many things going on on the first day. Tomorrow I am going into the studio and hope to make progress on my bookcase!! Oh, and I should wear gloves so I don't keep getting splinters in my hands!!!!!!!
